James William Spears 
James William was born on July 29th, 1846 in Pointer Creek, Pulaski County, Kentucky. James William's father was Hezekiah "Ki" Spears and his mother was Catherine "Caty" Wesley. His maternal grandparents were Robert "Robin" Wesley and Delilah Dye. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Nicholas J., Thomas, Sarah "Sally", Mary Martha C, Elizabeth, Delila Mary Polly and Lydia J.. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 76 on December 24th, 1922 in Somerset, Pulaski County, Kentucky.General Notes
