John Brown Young Skaggs 
John Brown Young was born on March 14th, 1893.1 John Brown Young's father was Beverly L. Skaggs and his mother was Mary Francis DeSpain. His paternal grandparents were William L. Skaggs and Mary Johnson. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William H., James Elmer, Henry D., Charles F., Everett F., Lulu Alice, Rosa L., Bessie E. and Bettie E.. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 83 on May 12th, 1976 in LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
