Henry Matt Skaggs 
Henry Matt was born on January 23rd, 1898 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Henry Matt's father was William Anderson Skaggs and his mother was Martha Francis Nelson. His paternal grandparents were William L. Skaggs and Mary Johnson. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William Thomas, John Berton, Bennie Dever, Miles Talmadge, Emma Green, Bessie Alice and Mary Lela Rebecca. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 37 on June 7th, 1935 in Kentucky.1 General Notes
