James Arnold Simmons 
James Arnold was born on December 18th, 1836. James Arnold's father was Spencer D. Simmons and his mother was Elizabeth Moss. His paternal grandparents were James Simmons and Stacy Ann Roberts. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Spencer Sargent, Obediah, Francis M., John, Monroe, Daniel, George and Eliza. He was the oldest of the nine children. He had a half-sister named Rachael.General Notes
