Daniel Simmons 
Daniel was born in 1854. Daniel's father was Spencer D. Simmons and his mother was Elizabeth Moss. His paternal grandparents were James Simmons and Stacy Ann Roberts. He had seven brothers and a sister, named James Arnold, Spencer Sargent, Obediah, Francis M., John, Monroe, George and Eliza. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He had a half-sister named Rachael. He died at the age of 64 in 1918 in Grainger Co, TN.General Notes
