Ethel Maye Shofner 
Ethel Maye was born on May 18th, 1903 in Kentucky.1 Ethel Maye's father was Thomas Jefferson Shofner and her mother was Louisa Catherine Skaggs. Her maternal grandparents were Henry David Skaggs and Ruth S. Salsman. She had three brothers and three sisters, named David Cleaver, Charles Thomas, Chester Young, Ruth Janel, Bettie Susan and Myrtle White. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 87 on April 4th, 1991.1 General Notes
