David Cleaver Shofner 
David Cleaver was born on March 5th, 1894 in Kentucky.1 David Cleaver's father was Thomas Jefferson Shofner and his mother was Louisa Catherine Skaggs. His maternal grandparents were Henry David Skaggs and Ruth S. Salsman. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Charles Thomas, Chester Young, Ruth Janel, Bettie Susan, Myrtle White and Ethel Maye. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 88 on December 5th, 1982.1 General Notes
