Anthony Shirley 
Anthony was born in 1565 in Wiston, Sussex, England. Anthony's father was Thomas Shirley and his mother was Anne Kempe dau of Sir Thomas Kempe of Wye by Catherine Chenye. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Kempe and Cecily Katherine Cheyney. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas, Robert, Isabel, Maria, Elizabeth (Margaret), Cecily, Cicely, Jane and Anne. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 62 in 1627 in At, , , Spain.General Notes
