Anne Shirley

Anne was born in September 1554 in Staunton Harrold, Breedon, Leicestershire, England, England. Anne's father was Francis Shirley and her mother was Dorothy Giffard. Her paternal grandparents were Ralph Shirley and Jane Sheffield; her maternal grandmother was Dorothy Montgomery. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Edward, Arthur, Ralph, Elizabeth, Cassandra, Mary and Alice. She was the youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 54 on September 29th, 1608 in Madeley, Shropshire, England.
