Philip Reed SCOTT 
Philip Reed was born on August 16th, 1837 in Hardin County, KY. Philip Reed's father was Marshall SCOTT and his mother was Nancy READ. His paternal grandparents were James Scott and Elenor PREECE (PRICE). He had four brothers and four sisters, named James W, John L, Sirus Reed (Cyrus), Milton David, Rachel Melvina, Margarett "Mary" J, Lydia E and Lucretia. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 54 on September 26th, 1891. He was buried in Levelwood Methodist Cemetery.General Notes
