James Scott

James was born in 1767 in Russell Co., Virginia.¹

James' father was Alexander Scott and his mother was Susan Gibbons.  His maternal grandparents were John Gibbons and <Unknown>. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Alexander, William, Liddy, Rhoda, Elizabeth and Polly.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 70 in March 1837 in Green County, Kentucky.
