William Rucker 
William was born in 1819.1 William's father was Ambrose Rucker and his mother was Sarah Steele. His paternal grandparents were Lemuel Rucker and Ann Booten. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Lemuel, Samuel, Jahn, James, John, Polly Wise, Eddeth, Sarah and Elizabeth. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Levi, Stephen, Nelson, Ambrose, Aaron, Wesley, Marriann, Phoebe, Rachel and Amy. He died at the age of 78 in 1897.1 -
