Ambrose Rucker

Ambrose was born in 1839.¹ Ambrose's father was Ambrose Rucker and his mother was Rachel Stephens. His paternal grandparents were Lemuel Rucker and Ann Booten. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Levi, Stephen, Nelson, Aaron, Wesley, Marriann, Phoebe, Rachel and Amy. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Lemuel, Samuel, Jahn, James, William, John, Polly Wise, Eddeth, Sarah and Elizabeth. He died in Marshaltown, Iowa.¹
