Jahn Rucker

Jahn was born in 1816.¹ Jahn's father was Ambrose Rucker and his mother was Sarah Steele. His paternal grandparents were Lemuel Rucker and Ann Booten. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Lemuel, Samuel, James, William, John, Polly Wise, Eddeth, Sarah and Elizabeth. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Levi, Stephen, Nelson, Ambrose, Aaron, Wesley, Marriann, Phoebe, Rachel and Amy. He died at the age of 39 in 1855.¹
