Polly Wise Rucker

Polly Wise was born in 1810.¹ Polly Wise's father was Ambrose Rucker and her mother was Sarah Steele. Her paternal grandparents were Lemuel Rucker and Ann Booten. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Lemuel, Samuel, Jahn, James, William, John, Eddeth, Sarah and Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the ten children. She had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Levi, Stephen, Nelson, Ambrose, Aaron, Wesley, Marriann, Phoebe, Rachel and Amy. She died at the age of 36 in 1846.¹
