Francis Reade

Francis was born in 1650 in Yorktown, York, Virginia. Francis' father was George Reade and his mother was Elizabeth Martiau. His maternal grandparents were Capt. Nicholas Martiau and Jane Berkeley. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John, George, Robert, Benjamin, Thomas, Mildred, Elizabeth, Ann and Mary. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children.
