Mary Reade 
Mary was born in 1658 in Yorktown, York, Virginia. Mary's father was George Reade and her mother was Elizabeth Martiau. Her maternal grandparents were Capt. Nicholas Martiau and Jane Berkeley. She had six brothers and three sisters, named John, George, Robert, Benjamin, Thomas, Francis, Mildred, Elizabeth and Ann. She was the youngest of the ten children.-
