Sir Henry De Berkeley 
Sir Henry was born in 1531 in Bruton, Somerset, England. Sir Henry's father was Sir Maurice de Berkeley and his mother was Catherine Blount. His paternal grandparents were Richard de Berkeley and Elizabeth Coningsby. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Edward, Maurice, Robert, John, Francis, Gertrude, Elizabeth, Margaret, Frances and Anne. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 70 in 1601 in Bruton, Somerset, England.-
