Maurice De Berkeley 
Maurice was born in 1535 in Bruton, Somerset, England. Maurice's father was Sir Maurice de Berkeley and his mother was Catherine Blount. His paternal grandparents were Richard de Berkeley and Elizabeth Coningsby. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Sir Henry, Edward, Robert, John, Francis, Gertrude, Elizabeth, Margaret, Frances and Anne. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 88 in 1623 in Wraxall Draycott, Wiltshire, England.-
