Alfred Purvis

Alfred was born on February 10th, 1800. Alfred's father was James Purvis and his mother was Rhoda Roberts. His paternal grandparents were Jesse Purvis and Mary Ballenger; his maternal grandparents were John Roberts and Sarah. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Calvin, James, William , Jesse, John, Catherine, Lydia, Betsy, Nancy, Rhoda and America. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.
