Richard, known as The Good, was born in 0958 in Fecamp, Normandy, France.1   The Good's father was Duke of Normandy Richard (San Peur, The Fearless) Normandy I and his mother was Gonnor de Crepon.  His paternal grandparents were Duke Guillaume I (Longue Epaee) Normandy and Sprote Adela de Senlis; his maternal grandparents were Forester of Arques Herfast De Crepon and Gunnhild Olafsdottir. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Godfrey, Robert, Geoffrey, Mauger, Havlive, Beatrice, Emma and Matilda.  He was the second oldest of the nine children. He had five half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Geoffroy, William, William, Roger, Ralph, Sprota, Fredesende, Muriella, Hawise, Pappia and Beatrice.  He died at the age of 68 on August 28th, 1026 in Fecamp, Seine Inferieure, France.  He was buried in Fecamp, Seine Inferieure, France.2 2
