Oscar Robertus Long Jr. 
Oscar Robertus was born on October 19th, 1924 in Kings Mountain, Cleveland Co, NC. Oscar Robertus' father was Oscar Robertus Long and his mother was Daisy Ella Carpenter. His maternal grandparents were Edward Anderson Pinckney Carpenter and Caroline B. 'Callie' Hoke. He had five brothers and a sister, named Edward Carpenter, Marcus Troy, Benjamin Hoke, William Marion, Perry Anderson and Irene Hoke. He died at the age of 78 on November 12th, 2002 in Leland, Brunswick Co, NC.General Notes
