Marcus Troy Long 
Marcus Troy was born on July 14th, 1921 in Kings Mountain, Cleveland Co, NC. Marcus Troy's father was Oscar Robertus Long and his mother was Daisy Ella Carpenter. His maternal grandparents were Edward Anderson Pinckney Carpenter and Caroline B. 'Callie' Hoke. He had five brothers and a sister, named Edward Carpenter, Oscar Robertus, Benjamin Hoke, William Marion, Perry Anderson and Irene Hoke. He died at the age of 56 on August 1st, 1977 in Wilmington, New Hanover Co, NC.General Notes
