Benjamin Hoke Long 
Benjamin Hoke was born on June 8th, 1930 in Kings Mountain, Cleveland Co, NC. Benjamin Hoke's father was Oscar Robertus Long and his mother was Daisy Ella Carpenter. His maternal grandparents were Edward Anderson Pinckney Carpenter and Caroline B. 'Callie' Hoke. He had five brothers and a sister, named Edward Carpenter, Marcus Troy, Oscar Robertus, William Marion, Perry Anderson and Irene Hoke. He died at the age of 66 on August 9th, 1996.General Notes
