Edward Carpenter Long 
Edward Carpenter was born on May 18th, 1920 in Kings Mountain, Cleveland Co, NC. Edward Carpenter's father was Oscar Robertus Long and his mother was Daisy Ella Carpenter. His maternal grandparents were Edward Anderson Pinckney Carpenter and Caroline B. 'Callie' Hoke. He had five brothers and a sister, named Marcus Troy, Oscar Robertus, Benjamin Hoke, William Marion, Perry Anderson and Irene Hoke. He died at the age of 82 on February 18th, 2003 in Leland, Brunswick Co, NC.General Notes
