Martha Susan Joyce 
Martha Susan was born on December 20th, 1845 in Henry Co, VA.1 Martha Susan's father was Martin James Joyce and her mother was Sarah Anne Roberts. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Roberts and Sarah Joyce. She had six brothers and three sisters, named James M., William, John, Thomas Roberts, Lafayette W., Joseph Sidney, Eliza Jane, Nancy and Lucinda. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Robert Alexander and Caroline M.. She died at the age of 57 in 1902 in Henry Co, VA. She was buried in Goodwill Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Ridgeway, Henry Co, VA.1 1 General Notes
