Robert Emmitt Higgs 
Robert Emmitt was born on November 1st, 1890 in McLean Co, KY and his baptism took place in Draft Registration. Robert Emmitt's father was Moody C. Higgs and his mother was Nancy Jane Decker. His maternal grandparents were Valentine Decker and Louisa Cockriel. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Victor 'Val' T., James Monroe, John Melvin, John Lemuel, Emily 'Emma' J., Lucinda, Elizabeth, Lula and Golda Mae. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 83 on March 22nd, 1974 in Evansville City, Vanderburgh Co, IN.General Notes
