Lula Higgs 
Lula was born in 1882 in Sand Springs, Grayson Co, KY. Lula's father was Moody C. Higgs and her mother was Nancy Jane Decker. Her maternal grandparents were Valentine Decker and Louisa Cockriel. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Victor 'Val' T., James Monroe, John Melvin, Robert Emmitt, John Lemuel, Emily 'Emma' J., Lucinda, Elizabeth and Golda Mae. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children.General Notes
