Joshua Thomas Foster 
Joshua was born on May 19th, 1846 in Bullitt County, Kentucky.1 Joshua's father was James H. Foster and his mother was Nancy Monteith Jones. His paternal grandparents were Bartlett Foster and Elizabeth Harris. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named David, William, James, Robert, John, Benjamin, Rufus, Naomi, Jane, Nancy, Emily and Linzy. He was the youngest of the thirteen children.-
