Emily Ann Foster 
Emily was born on April 9th, 1835 in Bullitt County, Kentucky.1 Emily's father was James H. Foster and her mother was Nancy Monteith Jones. Her paternal grandparents were Bartlett Foster and Elizabeth Harris. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named David, William, James, Robert, John, Benjamin, Rufus, Joshua, Naomi, Jane, Nancy and Linzy. She was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children.-
