Chris Benton was born on September 1st, 1883 in Roseville, Barren Co, Kentucky.1 Chris Benton's father was Robert Elam Foster and his mother was Quintella E 'Quinnie' Wells. His paternal grandparents were James Ward Foster and Susanna Huffman. He had four brothers and two sisters, named James Riley, James H. R., Lud Paul, Parker, Ada A. and Mary Bell. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 59 on December 22nd, 1942 in Glasgow, Barren Co, Kentucky.2 -
