Robert Elam Foster 
Robert Elam was born on March 27th, 1846 in Barren, Kentucky, United States.1 Robert Elam's father was James Ward Foster and his mother was Susanna Huffman. His paternal grandparents were Bartlett Foster and Susanna Higdon. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Joseph "Joe " Riley, Joseph A, William E, James H, Martha A and Mary Susanna. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 45 on February 5th, 1892 in Temple Hill, Barren, Kentucky, United States. He was buried in February 1892 in Foster Cemetery #5 Roseville,Barren County ,Kentucky.-
