James Parish Foster 
James was born on March 23rd, 1762 in Goochland, Virginia.1 James' father was James Foster and his mother was Elizabeth Parish. His paternal grandparents were John Foster and Ruth Hoskins. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Bartlett, Anthony, Allen, Zenas, Susanna, Judith and Sally. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 62 on December 21st, 1824 in Barren County, Kentucky.2 -
