Oscar H. Despain 
Oscar H. was born on April 8th, 1838 in Macomb, Mcdonough, Illinois. Oscar H.'s father was William Joseph Despain and his mother was Janetta S. Katherine Eaton. His paternal grandparents were Peter DeSpain and Nancy Skaggs. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Augustus, Christopher Columbus, Albert, Mary F., Amanda, Eliza Jane, Emma and Nettie. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He was buried on July 17th, 1893 in Nebraska City, Otoe, Nebraska.General Notes
