Augustus Despain 
Augustus was born on February 22nd, 1836 in , , Illinois. Augustus' father was William Joseph Despain and his mother was Janetta S. Katherine Eaton. His paternal grandparents were Peter DeSpain and Nancy Skaggs. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Oscar H., Christopher Columbus, Albert, Mary F., Amanda, Eliza Jane, Emma and Nettie.
