Eliza Jane Despain 
Eliza Jane was born in 1842 in , , Illinois. Eliza Jane's father was William Joseph Despain and her mother was Janetta S. Katherine Eaton. Her paternal grandparents were Peter DeSpain and Nancy Skaggs. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Augustus, Oscar H., Christopher Columbus, Albert, Mary F., Amanda, Emma and Nettie. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.General Notes
