Fanny Emma Carpenter 
Fanny Emma was born on September 22nd, 1897 in NC. Fanny Emma's father was Edward Anderson Pinckney Carpenter and her mother was Caroline B. 'Callie' Hoke. Her maternal grandparents were Peter Philo Hoke and Faithy Ann Goforth. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Clarence E., Charles Troy, Clara M., Lula A. and Daisy Ella. She was the youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 94 on March 22nd, 1992. She was buried in Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, Cleveland Co, NC.General Notes
