Clara M. Carpenter 
Clara M. was born in November 1887 in NC. Clara M.'s father was Edward Anderson Pinckney Carpenter and her mother was Caroline B. 'Callie' Hoke. Her maternal grandparents were Peter Philo Hoke and Faithy Ann Goforth. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Clarence E., Charles Troy, Lula A., Daisy Ella and Fanny Emma. She was the oldest of the six children.General Notes
