Lelan Forrest CLEMENT 
Lelan Forrest was born on June 7th, 1922 in Macomb, Pottawatomie Co. OK. Lelan Forrest's father was Charlie Monroe CLEMENT and his mother was Stella Blackburn BURDEN. His paternal grandparents were William CLEMENT and Etheldra THOMPSON. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William Lowell Lee, Churchill, Billy Cordell, Lester Charlie "Chief", Arie Etheldra, Lena Ellen, Stella Bessie and Ruby Annamae. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 84 on October 28th, 2006 in Muskogee, Muskogee Co OK. He was buried in Ft. Gibson National Cemetery, Ft. Lelan was a veteran of World War II. He entered the U.S. Army in 1941. He remained stateside, serving most of his time at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas.
After the war, he married Evaline McKinney. Lelan and Evaline lived in Fort Smith, Arkansas in the early years of their marriage. They later moved to Muskogee,Oklahoma. They were divorced.
Many years after his divorce, Lelan married Bernice(Smith) Montgomery. Lelan was a Mason and a Shriner.
