Arie Etheldra CLEMENT 
Arie Etheldra was born on July 20th, 1914 in McClain Co OK.1 Arie Etheldra's father was Charlie Monroe CLEMENT and her mother was Stella Blackburn BURDEN. Her paternal grandparents were William CLEMENT and Etheldra THOMPSON. She had five brothers and three sisters, named William Lowell Lee, Churchill, Lelan Forrest, Billy Cordell, Lester Charlie "Chief", Lena Ellen, Stella Bessie and Ruby Annamae. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 73 on April 3rd, 1988 in Chickasha, Grady Co. OK. She was buried in Prairie View Cemetery, Macomb, Pottawatomie Co OK.General Notes
Arie and Mel lived at Romulus, Pottawatomie Co. OK the first years of their marriage. They moved to eastern Oklahoma near Checotah where Mel farmed, raising cotton, peanuts, and broomcorn. The children all graduated from Checotah HighSchool.
Sometime around 1970 they moved to Cement, Grady Co. OK to a farm owned by their son, Melford. They farmed and raised hogs. Their last years together were spent on a farm at Bradley, Grady Co. OK.
Arie was diagnosed with diabetes, just as he rfather was many years before. She died on Easter Sunday.
