Florence Best 
Florence's father was George Best and her mother was Sarah Francis Fulkerson. Her maternal grandparents were James Reid Fulkerson and Matilda Ann Kerrick. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Walter Timothy, Johnny, Amos, Dugan, Hal, Homer, Les, Clemmy, Carthy, Lizzie and Mary.General Notes
She was the victim of a tragic accident before her second birthday.While playing in the yard, she dropped the top of a can she wasplaying with into a kettle. The kettle had but a few inches ofrainwater in it, but it was enough to drown the little girl as shefell frontwards into the kettle to retrieve her toy.
