William Winston BROWNING 
William Winston was born on December 24th, 1794 in Culpeper Co., VA.. William Winston's father was Lieutenant John BROWNING Sr. and his mother was Betty (Betty). His paternal grandparents were Frank (Frank) III and Frances Eman Norman. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named George Strother, John Dabney, Charles Dabney, Oliver Winston, Francis Strother, Mary Wade, Mary Elizabeth, Lucy, Fannie, Elizabeth, Nancy, Millie and Sally. He was the fourth youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 69 on November 13th, 1864 in San Jose, Santa Clara Co., CA..General Notes
