Rachel BROWNING 
Rachel was born in 1778 in Caswell Co., N. C. and her baptism took place in 1778. Rachel's father was Edmond Browning and her mother was ???? (Mrs. Edmund) BROWNING. Her paternal grandparents were Francis Browning and Elizabeth Carter Lloyd. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Caleb, Joshua, Robert J., Nimrod, John, Haney, Elizabeth and Mary Clary. She was the youngest of the nine children.General Notes
