Caleb BROWNING Sr. 
Caleb was born about 1750 in Culpeper Co., VA.. Caleb's father was Edmond Browning and his mother was ???? (Mrs. Edmund) BROWNING. His paternal grandparents were Francis Browning and Elizabeth Carter Lloyd. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Joshua, Robert J., Nimrod, John, Haney, Elizabeth, Mary Clary and Rachel. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died in 1786 in Fauquier Co., VA..General Notes
