Joshua BROWNING Sr. 
Joshua was born about 1762 in Virginia. Joshua's father was Edmond Browning and his mother was ???? (Mrs. Edmund) BROWNING. His paternal grandparents were Francis Browning and Elizabeth Carter Lloyd. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Caleb, Robert J., Nimrod, John, Haney, Elizabeth, Mary Clary and Rachel. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died before April 19th, 1807.General Notes
