Marie von Hessen-Kassel 
Marie was born in 1796. Marie's father was Friedrich Landgraf von Hessen-Kassel and her mother was Karoline von Nassau-Usingen. Her paternal grandparents were Friedrich II von Hessen-Kassel and Mary von Great Britain. She had five brothers and two sisters, named William Landgraf, Karl, Friedrich, Ludwig, Georg, Luise and Augusta. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 84 in 1880.-
