Georg von Hessen-Kassel 
Georg was born in 1798. Georg's father was Friedrich Landgraf von Hessen-Kassel and his mother was Karoline von Nassau-Usingen. His paternal grandparents were Friedrich II von Hessen-Kassel and Mary von Great Britain. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William Landgraf, Karl, Friedrich, Ludwig, Luise, Marie and Augusta. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 83 in 1881.-
