August Christian Eduard was born on March 22nd, 1837 in VERDEN, GERMANY.1 August Christian Eduard's father was Carl Christoph Ferdinand Schwartze and his mother was Luisa Dorothea Mette Allstaedt. His paternal grandfather was Johann Franz Schwartze; his maternal grandparents were Jacob Friederich Christian Peter Allstaedt and Maria Fredericke Luisa Schroeder. He had four brothers and a sister, named Stillborn, Carl Ernest Julius, Carl Wilhelm Ernst, Hermann Heinrich and Anna Dorothea Auguste. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had seven half-brothers and a half-sister, named Johann Franz Ferdinand, Friederich Christian, Johann Heinrich Wilhelm, Carl Gottlieb, Carl August Hermann, Georg Wilhelm Heinrich, Wilhelm Heinrich and Anna Sophia Maria Elisabeth. He died at the age of 70 in 1907 in BROOKLYN, N.Y..1 -
