Mary "May" 
Mary was born in 1874. Mary's father was Ludwig IV von Hessen and her mother was Alice Maud Mary von Great Britain. Her paternal grandparents were Karl Prinz von Hessen and Elizabeth Prinzessin von Preussen; her maternal grandparents were Albert Augustus Charles and Victoria Hanover Koenigin von England. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Ernest Ludwig, Friedrich Wilhelm, Victoria Alberta, Elizabeth, Irene and Alexandra Fedorovna "Alix" Zarin. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 4 in 1878 in Hesse-Darmstadt, Palace, Germany.-
