Robert Keith 
Robert was born about 1300. Robert's father was Robert De Keith and his mother is Barbara Douglas. His paternal grandparents were William Keith and Barbara Seton; his maternal grandparents were William Douglas and Elizabeth Stewart. He had a brother named William. He was the older of the two children. He died on October 17th, 1346 in Durham, England.General Notes

Killed at the Battle of Durham in 1346
... His grandson, who bore his name and succeeded him in his estates and
offices, was killed at the bat tle of Durham, 17th October, 1346, where
David II was taken prisoner, along w ith the other two chiefs of the Keith
family. As he died without issue he was succeeded by his grand-uncle, Sir
Edward Keith, who was twice married ..."
